More than 100 children, aged 8-18, took part in the 10th Annual Rides to Remember charity event on Saturday.
Unique Day of Giving Providing Fast Fun to Some Very Extraordinary Children
The private event allowed pediatric cancer patients the opportunity to experience a carefree day riding around a professional racetrack in exotic sports cars.
The event will began at 8:00 a.m. at Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta in Roswell followed by a police-escorted caravan of the cars and kids to Atlanta Motorsports Park.
“We want a kid to walk up to a car and say: Wow, I want to ride in that!”
“To see the smile on their faces is worth all the effort,” says Will Campbell, General Manager of Ferrari Maserati of Atlanta. “Rides to Remember is meant to be a thrill for them for a day. Their families can all have a great time and not worry about what else is going on in their lives.”
